Neutrality and transparency principles
Tedapp is a shared space where citizens of every view can be heard. To keep that space trustworthy, we hold ourselves to the following principles.
Equal distance
Tedapp does not side with any political party, candidate, movement or campaign. Our official accounts do not run political campaigns or endorse candidates.
Campaigns belong to users
Campaigns, candidacies and referendums on the platform are started by users. Tedapp provides the infrastructure and removes content that breaks the rules.
What votes mean
Elections, votes and candidacies on Tedapp are not official elections, are not legally binding and are not a scientific opinion poll.
Election periods
During the legal blackout before official elections, we do not show rankings or vote results publicly.
One person, one voice
We take measures against fake accounts and automated voting. Votes found to be manipulated are void.
Your data
Your political views are a special category of personal data and are protected accordingly. You can always request deletion of your account and data.
The same rules for all
Hate speech, harassment, incitement to violence and illegal content are removed under the same rules, whoever posts them. You can appeal moderation decisions.
Funding
No political party or candidate funds Tedapp. We list our supporters openly.
